4. Creating the Future You Want
Consider your life as a movie. What kind of movie is it? A romance, a comedy, sci-fi, a thriller, a tragedy, a horror movie, or a combination of all the above? Whichever it is, are you the star in it? Because if you are not, chances are you’ll feel you’re missing out on something. You’re not fulfilling your potential.
This programme puts us back at the centre of our universe and asks us to take unconditional responsibility for our life and begin the process of making things happen in our lives the way we want them to happen: at home, in our classrooms, in the world.
5. Which Methodology?
The methodologies that students respond best to depends on their preferred valuing and thinking system. Some students prefer a teacher – centred approach; some a learner – centred approach; some need a mix of these two; and some need autonomous learning.
This presentation/workshop offers tools and insights into how to distinguish which learners prefer which approaches, and how to construct lessons which cater for classes where several thinking and valuing systems are present.
The programme assumes teachers are prepared to take flexible approaches and to teach outside of their own preferences whenever and wherever necessary.
